Mouse Mod - Disassembly


First, disconnect the mouse and flip it over. You'll see a philips head screw on the bottom opposite the tail. Unscrew this and open the mouse. It hinges open from the tail of the mouse.


Pull the wheel and it's spring out and lift the PCB out.



Note the direction of the LED. The LEDs you'll be putting in must face the same way. If you screw it up you won't cook the mouse, but if you have to desolder and solder too often, you can make the PCB unusable.
